Went to the coffee shop to have my favorite Wan-tan mee (the best in town) for breakfast.
After mixing the black sauce with the noodle, I found a very much still alive and kicking maggot on the Char-siew, wiggling its almost transparent white body with black tip around the meat actively, sniffing away goodie (or way out) of the very much cooked dish.
I almost puked.
Told the boss about it and she gave me my money back.
Thank God I have not dig in, else...
The Wan-tan mee stall in Jalan Dungun, the corner shop behind Hock Lee Mini Market. The best Wan-tan mee in town.
Now we know why...
It is time to find the next best Wan-tan mee stall :(
