Alvin and I went to FRIM for 3 hours long photo-walk.
I don't know why we never done this often enough. It could be because of the climb I had a few years ago. It almost kill me!
This time we chose the easy trail. It was the mountain bike trail. Basically we started from the hill top, sort of, walking downhill all the way.
We forgot to bring insect repellent, so we were scratching all the way, until we forgot what itchiness is all about.
And along the way, I always! Always fighting with the weird "I think there's something in my shoes..." feelings.
Well, I have nothing against leeches. As long as I don't see them, I am more than happy to let them suck my blood.
But as soon as I see them, the thought of "I don't want to touch that yucky gooey little thing get it off me now" panic attack just hit me.
Alvin had to help me balance and to get rid of it.
These nasty creatures apparently are one of the most successful organism in the entire universe. And because of them, I will never! Ever! Go hiking on my own in tropical forest.
Though... It was very refreshing walk. Time well spent! And it is healthy and not expensive.
We should do this more often.
Poor thing, panic attack struck by a innocent leech. ;)
ReplyDeletePower photo eh..

ReplyDeleteleeches.....reminds me of our last hike......you love them and you hate them....why love them? because so that you got exciting story to tell after the hike. Why hate them? coz you don't like the scar they leave on your skin...I think it'll take months to recover...
ReplyDeleteLOL~~~ Ling. Yes. I really miss hanging out with you. I do have "Love-Hate" relationship with leeches. The itch is irritating!
